Permits for international recruitment

If your employee is not an EU or EEA national, they must apply for a residence permit. EU/EEA citizens may work without restrictions but must register their right of residence. Read more on the Finnish Immigration Service website.

You can fast-track your residence permit application and receive a decision in two weeks, if you are coming to Finland to work as a specialist, as a start-up entrepreneur, with the EU Blue Card, as a specialist or manager with an ICT residence permit, in top or middle management of a company. If your employee applies for a residence permit online, you can fill in the details of their job and your company in the Enter Finland service for employers.
