Permits for international recruitment

  • If your employee is not an EU or EEA national, they must apply for a residence permit. EU/EEA citizens may work without restrictions but must register their right of residence.​ Read more on the Finnish Immigration Service website.

  • You can fast-track your residence permit application and receive a decision in two weeks, if you are coming to Finland to work as a specialist, as a start-up entrepreneur, with the EU Blue Card, as a specialist or manager with an ICT residence permit, in top or middle management of a company​. Job Fair Tampere – more than just a recruitment event

13.8.2025 1.10.2025, Tampere-talo will once again be filled with international expertise and local employers when Job Fair Tampere is held for the sixth time. Last year, the region's largest English-language recruitment event attracted over 1,100 job seekers, 14 companies, and 10 organizational partners, and led to at least 16 recruitments.
