2025 marks the 10-year anniversary of Tampere Talent Ambassador activities

This year, Tampere celebrates the 10th anniversary of city’s Talent Ambassador activities. The anniversary represents significant milestone in Tampere’s internationalization efforts, reflecting our strategic vision and systematic approach. Having started as a network of international and internationally-minded locals, the program has since evolved to become a strategic tool for attracting investments, congresses, students, and international talents alike.

Back in 2015, the establishment of the network was a bold innovation. Now, as this concept has gained worldwide recognition, it is an honor to acknowledge that Tampere was a first mover in creating such voluntary social networks to support internationalization. These networks address the city’s talent needs, support growing industries, and promote culture, sports, and educational opportunities.

Over the past decade, we have accumulated numerous experiences that have led to reforms and ongoing improvements in our operations. It is crucial to highlight that our expertise and traditions have been carefully developed through wise adjustments in response to the evolving landscape and forecasts for the future.

During this jubilee year, we will take the opportunity to dive deeper into the past, present, and future of Tampere Ambassadors. We aim to open the curtains on our activities to the wider community, as we celebrate and express gratitude to our former and current Tampere Ambassadors, as well as the City of Tampere coordinating team!
